My name is Ronald ”Ron” Hawkins, and I became involved in the auction business in October of 2003. I am a Texas Licensed Auctioneer Lic#15117. I also Graduated from Southeastern School of Auctioneering in Greenville, SC. Before attending the school I was informed that I did not need to attend school if I had already passed the Texas auctioneer test, I inquired as to what I might gain by attending their school. . They stated they had been in the auction business for 30 years and they teach the "correct way" to run an auction business. After meeting Mr. Larry Meares and his family, I immediately understood why they have been in business for 30 years. They live the business and also live by the "Code of Ethics" of the National Auctioneer’s Association.

This past year I have had the opportunity to work with a local auctioneer in the Houston, Texas area to learn the business and get hands on experience of the correct way to run an auction.
I have spent my entire adult life in sales and marketing. The Auction business is the same; sales and marketing. To service your needs, I have assembled a staff of qualified people that have the knowledge and experience in everything from Antiques to Heavy Equipment.
